Dear Families,
As November arrives, we’re seeing the weather shift to cooler, wetter days. Please ensure your child is dressed appropriately for the season. Rubber boots, mittens, hats, and raincoats are essential to keep everyone warm and dry. With the rain comes puddles - lots of them! So extra clothes will always come in handy even though we encourage students to be cautious and stay dry while enjoying the outdoors.
We’d like to extend a big congratulations to all of our Cross Country runners! Your hard work and determination were truly impressive. A special thank you goes out to our dedicated coaches Mr. Mameri, Mrs. Denny and Mrs. Prohazska who supported and guided our athletes throughout the season.
We’re also excited to kick off our Boys Volleyball and Girls Basketball seasons. Practices and games will be starting soon, and we look forward to seeing our students show their skills and teamwork on the court.
A reminder to all families that Student-Led Conferences will be taking place from November 11 to 14. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to share their learning and progress with their families. Please check your email or school communication platform for sign-up details.
During conference week, we will also be hosting our Grade 1 - 6 Art Fundraiser. Students have been working hard on beautiful pieces that will be available for purchase. Proceeds will go toward supporting school programs and activities. Thank you in advance for your support!
Lastly, we’d like to congratulate Mrs. Laura, who is heading to Rama Central and welcome our new secretary Mrs. Nicole.
Wishing everyone a safe and cozy November!
Sincerely,
Mr. Chater and Mrs. Turner
