December 2024 - Newsletter
Posted on 12/01/2024

Hello Families!
December is a busy month as we prepare students for Winter Break, a season filled with festivities and a spirit of celebration. While Christmas holds special significance for many, the magic of December extends far beyond any one cultural or religious tradition. Across the globe, diverse communities come together to honor their unique customs, holidays, and beliefs. From Hanukkah and Kwanzaa to Gita Jayanti, Bodhi Day, and the Winter Solstice, December is a time for families and friends—regardless of background—to come together, share in the joy of giving, reflect on the past year, and look forward to new beginnings. This month, and throughout the holiday season, take time to celebrate with loved ones and reconnect with what truly matters.

This month, we are excited to have our Orchard Park Holiday Concert! We are hosting two shows; one at 11:45 am and the evening performance at 6 pm. More details follow in the newsletter. Our ‘Celebrations Week’ is December 16-22 where we will highlight and celebrate different traditions from around the world! Our final day with students is December 20th. We look forward to seeing all the students back on Monday, January 6th, 2025. Enjoy a wonderful and safe holiday with your family and friends.

All the best,
Mrs. Turner
